When you walk or run for more than 10 minutes without stopping, the iHealth Wave enters the workout mode and exits it after 5 minutes of break. A summary of this workout session is displayed on the screen and is available for 30 minutes after the other information visible on the iHealth Wave.
This summary shows:
- the duration of the workout session
- the number of steps during the workout session
- the distance traveled during the workout session
- the calories burned during the workout session
This summary will also be synchronized with the app and will be displayed in a dedicated view.
Activities supported by iHealth Wave
The iHealth Wave measures different kind of activities with a great accuracy thanks to its 3-axis accelerometer and dedicated algorithms.
- Walking
- Running
- Swimming
- The sleep
It is ideal for physical activities where the wrist on which the iHealth Wave is placed is an integral part of the movement performed.
It is not suitable for more static activities (strength training, yoga) or when the iHealth Wave is not an integral part of the movement (cycling). It still captures movements when worn during these activities, but these activities are not recorded with as much accuracy as for walking or running activities.
