When you walk or run for more than 10 minutes without stopping, the iHealth Edge enters the workout mode and exits it after 5 minutes of break. A summary of this workout session is displayed on the screen and is available for 30 minutes after the other information visible on the iHealth Edge.
This summary shows:
- the duration of the workout session
- the number of steps during the workout session
- the distance traveled during the workout session
- the calories burned during the workout session
This summary will also be synchronized with the app and will be displayed in a dedicated view.
Activities supported by the iHealth Edge
The iHealth Edge measures activities with great accuracy when the wrist plays a key part in the movement, and when the feet are in contact with the ground (walking, running).
The iHealth Edge has more difficulties recording data for activities that involve resistance, such as bodybuilding, yoga and cycling. The iHealth Edge still captures data if it is worn during these kinds of activities, but the movements involved are not recorded as precisely as they are during activities like walking or running.
