MyVitals - Sharing data with a third-party application (Apple Health, Google FIT)

The iHealth MyVitals application allows certain data to be shared with third-party applications such as the Apple Health app and Google FIT.

To authorise data sharing with a third-party application, go to Account > Authorise 3rd-Party Apps and then follow the on-screen instructions.

Google FIT API support ending

Google is gradually deprecating the Google FIT API. To ensure data safety and better user experience, we are transitioning to Health Connect.

Why this change?

• The Google FIT API is being phased out in favor of Health Connect
• Health Connect provides stronger privacy and permission control
• Supports data syncing across more health & fitness apps
• Improves accuracy and stability of health data

What do I need to do?

1. Go to your device setting and install/enable Health Connect
2. Grant permission for this app to use Health Connect
3. After set up, your existing data will remainand new data will sync via Health Connect

Notes

• Health Connect may not be supported on older devices (Android 9 and below)
• Data migration will not delete your existing records
• Please make sure your app is updated to the last version
