The iHealth Clear blood pressure monitor has a function for the detection of irregular heartbeat. When this is the case, an irregular heartbeat icon appears to the left of the pulse rate value on the app.
Note - When an irregular heartbeat is detected, measurement of blood pressure may be inaccurate. A new measurement is recommended.
In most cases, this detection is not a concern, but if the irregular heartbeat symbol appears frequently, several times a week when taking daily blood pressure measurements, we recommend that you consult your doctor, who may perform more tests.
This feature does not in any way replace a cardiological examination, but it helps to detect an irregular heartbeat at an early stage.
